Anxiety
Anxiety is our body's natural response to perceived threats, which can be experienced as a sudden rush of adrenaline, or just a low-level state of constant worry or dread. Nervousness, unrelenting stress, irritability, and panic attacks are all signs of anxiety. Anxiety can be free-floating, or it may occur in response to specific situations which, left unexamined, become increasingly debilitating. Chronic anxiety interferes with work, damages relationships, and keeps us from social activities. Anxiety is, literally, terrifying -- though often we are hard-pressed to pinpoint our source of fear.
Together we can explore the underlying causes of anxiety and find healthy ways to mitigate your response to fear.
